2025 - Project #1
Out of Africa is one of two units in our rental Cottage. We use these mid-term residences for travelers needing 30-90 days accommodations at a time.

Here's to 2024!
In my opinion, the little projects are simply noteworthy with larger projects deserving the limelight. With that mindset, here is a list of my #52Projects for 2024.

Project #10
The story of Alice in Wonderland most likely will always be part of my life. From initially thinking "Alice in" Wonderland was "Allison" Wonderland, this little blonde British girl thought the story was a perfect depiction of her. I had the colouring, hair, voice, and prissy-ness.

Project #9
Little things I do not think about until they surface again are often projects that are not really projects on my list. Sometimes, it is accomplishing little things that give satisfaction.

Project #5
We have a cloak/coat closet!
If I ask if you have a "Fred Flintstone closet" in your house, do you know what I mean?

Project #4
Bittersweet it is when you say, "Farewell." Mum passed in 2020, but we revived one of her favourite pastimes for a last hurrah.

Project #3
If you read that commencement year as 2006, it is correct. I purchased two yards of this beautiful black and gold brocade that long ago with the intent of making this piece.

Project #2
Someone special knew I loved rocking chairs, but thought this one unique to North Carolina. Is it an early recliner designed in a shop during the era when North Carolina was the 'building capital of the South'?
